Many listeners to Christian radio are familiar with Dr. Harold Sala and his 5-minute program Guidelines for Living, but you might not realize that Guidelines International Ministries is also involved in humanitarian work.  You might be asking, "Why would a media organization like Guidelines be involved in hands-on ministry?"  As you listen to Dr. Sala answer that question on today's Footsteps, keep this verse in mind:

"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?  Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." (1 John 3:17-18, ESV)
