"Church Planting" is a huge term in missions these days.  In fact, some churches will only support missionaries who are directly involved in church planting.  But, what about areas where the believers are so isolated that there aren't enough people to form a church?  Or what about areas in the Middle East where there is so much persecution against Christians that it's too dangerous for believers to gather together?  It is in situations like these where Christian radio fills that void in a believer's life.  As "Joseph," who works with TWR in the Middle East puts it, "radio for them is like where they go to church."
