Joseph works with TWR in the Middle East, and on today's Footsteps, Joseph tells the story of a man who came to Christ and immediately experienced severe persecution.  The man told Joseph, "I am rejected from my family.  I have lost everything, but I know that Jesus is there for me, and he's enough for me!"  Wow.  That's both humbling and inspiring.  How can this new believer be so "bold and courageous" in the midst of persecution?  It is the power of Christ in him.  As you listen to today's program, keep the apostle Paul's words in mind:

"Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.  And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:8-10, NKJV)

Pray for this TWR listener in the Middle East that he would continue to experience the power and strength of Christ as he deals with persecution.
