"There is a difference between a fleshly stubbornness and a godly perseverance," explains Dr. Bill Thrasher, author and professor at the Moody Bible Institute.  "The former insists on getting one's will done in heaven, and the latter determines to get God's will done on earth."(1)  Therefore, the key to persistence can be summarized in Jesus' prayer to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane--"not as I will, but as You will" (Matthew 26:39b, NKJV).  So, with that type of biblical persistence in mind, I encourage you to keep praying for and witnessing to your unsaved friends and family members.  God indeed moves through our persistence and peseverance.  You'll hear an example on today's Footsteps featuring Scott Murphy of Regeneration Reservation.  Give it a listen.
