"His wife never lived to see him turn back to God," explains Pete Walker on today's Footsteps.  But his late wife's "legacy of faith" drove her husband to the Lord.  I'm struck by this woman's faith.  Day after day, she engaged her husband in conversations about the Lord.  She gave him questions to ponder. She didn't give up.  And, he didn't forget either.  I'm reminded of Galatians 6:9 (NIV):

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

In the case of this faithful wife, she kept sowing Gospel seed into her husband's life.  And, "at the proper time," he turned to Jesus.  As for the wife, I imagine she was part of the "rejoicing in heaven" (Luke 15:7, NIV) that took place when her husband finally repented of his sins and accepted Christ!
