Have you ever heard of an ellipsis?  It's the name for the dot dot dot in English grammar.  Most frequently, it's used to show the ommision of words in a sentence.  However, an ellipsis also can be used to indicate a pause, and that's the way I'm thinking about an ellipsis concerning today's Footsteps.  Our guest is Pavel Shifman, and on today's program, he talks about the current state of Christianity in Russia.  Pavel states, "We believe that (the) revival that we had in the '90s was on pause; it wasn't over."  It's as if there has been a twenty-year ellipsis in the middle of a great awakening in Russia.  That's an interesting thought!  For an update on this revival, don't miss today's episode.
