"We know it's the younger generation that's really going to have the impact of growing the Church," maintains Dan Hatfield, CEO of Nations One for Christ which uses radio to share the hope of Jesus with the First Nations people of Canada.  He shares his thoughts on this topic on today's Footsteps.

Concerning the young people of the First Nations tribes of Canada as well as the young American Indians in the United States, the statistics for alcohol and drug abuse as well as suicide are alarming!  We must rescue these lost young ones through the love and salvation that Christ provides, and then we must disciple them through the Scriptures.  After all, "How can a young man keep his way pure?  By guarding it according to your word" (Psalm 119:9, ESV).

Pray for our Native American youth so that they may be a bold witness to their fellow tribespeople.
