In my mid-thirties, I began taking short-term missions trips.  With each overseas adventure, my heart for global missions grew, and by age fifty, I found myself in my current role as a full-time missionary with TWR--a global Christian media ministry.  David Russell of SonSet Solutions agrees about the value of short-term missions trips.  On today's Footsteps, David describes them as opportunities "for amazing enlightenment for your eyes to be opened widely" to what God is doing around the world.  So, have you ever been part of a short-term missions trip?  If not, start praying about it now, and then be ready for God to open a door to take you to another part of the world.  Don't be surprised if it changes your life!
