TWR broadcasts the Gospel on some of Africa's most powerful transmitters, but in order to hear the Good News, the African people must have radios in order to receive the signal.  The reality is that many Africans don't have the means to purchase a radio.  That's why TWR distributes wind-up and solar-powered radios in several countries across the continent.

On today's Footsteps, TWR's Abdoulaye Sangho gives an update on radio distribution in West Africa.  Abdoulaye explains, "when they get it (their radio), it's a treasure for them."  But the treasure is not just the device itself.  The treasure is the message that is delievered through that device.  Just read this testimony from a TWR listener in Africa:

"In all circumstances, from day to night, at work or at rest ... I listen to TWR without getting tired.  I share the messages and make them available to many other people to listen to.  For me, your messages are my treasure."
