"For most Christians, it's the confidence that the biggest problem" in sharing Christ with others asserts Evangelism Explosion President John Sorensen on today's Footsteps.  John goes on to explain how EE can help equip believers in this area of personal evangelism.  So, to develop confidence in witnessing, listen to today's program, check out EE's resources, and then meditate on the following passage of Scripture where the apostle Paul writes:

"When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.  For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.  I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling.  My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demostration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power." (1 Corinthians 2:1b-5, NIV)

Knowing that it's God's power that brings salvation rather than your nervous presentation of the Gospel, you should have some added confidence the next time you tell someone about Jesus.
