In Luke chapter 7, Jesus is invited to eat at the home of a Pharisee.

Jesus "took his place at the table.  And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and annointed them with the ointment." (Luke 36b-38, ESV)

This woman--"who was a sinner"--was likely a prostitute, and in the presence of the Lord, she was overcome with emotion, a desire to repent of her sin, and a yearning to humbly worship Jesus.

On today's Footsteps, Paul Bramsen of Rock International tells a similar story of a woman who "cried for hours" after watching the movie King of Glory.  You must listen to today's program, and then spend some time thanking Jesus for forgiving your sin through His sacrifice on the cross.  In the event that you don't know what I'm talking about, then I encourage you to watch King of Glory.  The link is below.
