After Jesus healed the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, "the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him" (John 5:18a, ESV).  Then a few chapters later, Jesus warned his disciples, "if they persecuted me, they will also persecute you" (John 15:20a, ESV).  That truth is still happening today.  As followers of Jesus, we will experience varies types of persecution.  One current example is Somalia.  Listen to today's Footsteps as TWR's Harry Bettig shares the reality of "village spies" who put Christians on "hit lists" in that dangerous part of East Africa.
