What the Bible Has to Say
British theologian John Stott taught ...
"Our claim is that God has revealed Himself by speaking; that this divine (or God-breathed) speech has been written down and preserved in Scripture; and that Scripture is, in fact, God's Word written, which therefore is true and reliable and has divine authority over men."(1)
Because the Bible is actually "God's Word written," we must preach and teach it with care. That's the approach of Brazilian Bible teacher Luiz Sayao on the radio program Mission 66. Jonatas Hubner works alongside Dr. Sayao, and on today's Footsteps, Jonatas points out, "We focus on the text, what the Bible has to say, and what our goal is--if the Bible says it's that way, it's that way." I greatly respect that straightforward approach. That's why TWR is excited to translate and broadcast Mission 66 in an ever-increasing number of languages.
