But One Day ...
One of my favorite passages of Scripture is Ephesians chapter 2:
"And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked ... But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved." (Ephesians 2:1 & 4-6, ESV)
I love those two words, "But God." You see, on our own, in our unbelieving state, we were dead in our sin and condemned to Hell, "but God" graciously stepped in and saved us. May He be praised!
Now, I encourage you to listen to today's episode of Footsteps where TWR's Lisa Hall shares about woman who listens to the TWR Women of Hope program in Turkey. It's truly a "but God" type of story.
