"There are ... foreign cults moving into the country of Japan and trying to gain an influence, a foothold," maintains TWR's Ethan Koh on today's Footsteps.  Truly, we shouldn't be surprised.  It would be naive for us to believe that Satan--"the father of lies" (John 8:44, ESV)--would not be doing everything in his limited power to attempt to disrupt the advancement of the Gospel in Japan.  Afterall, Satan is our "adversary the devil" who "prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8, ESV).  When Christian missionaries travel to Japan, Satan sends his false-teaching representatives into the same territory.  Pure and simple, it's spiritual warfare.  It's to be expected. 

So, now that you've read this blog and hopefully listened to today's episode of Footsteps, you should know better how to pray for the country of Japan.
