Who Still Uses Cassettes?
As a young boy, I remember that our family had a couple of cassette player/recorders. Friends would let my parents borrow Bible-teaching programs, and then my mother would listen to them while she worked. I had to be very quiet--not simply because my mother was listening, but because she was playing the program on one cassette machine and recording that program on the other. I know, that's a very crude way of duplicating a tape, but it worked. In fact, it still works today for TWR listeners in Cuba. TWR's Annabel Torrealba describes the process on today's Footsteps.
Honestly, our conversation took me back in time. Maybe it will do the same for you. But above all else, after you listen to this episode, please pray for TWR's outreach into Cuba. Thanks!
