At times, the call of Jesus on our lives is extremely obvious.  For example,

"And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.  Then He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'  They immediately left their nets and followed Him." (Mathew 4:18-20, NKJV)

You might be thinking, "But Andy, Jesus is not physically walking by my workplace.  I can't hear His voice calling me by name.  How can I know exactly where He wants me to go and what He wants me to do?"

Here's the good news for us today.  As believers in Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit living within us:

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your rememberance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26, NKJV)

We also have the very Word of God to direct us:

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105, NKJV)

We have fellow members in the body of Christ to encourage, equip, and motivate us:

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25, NKJV)

And, we have a Sovereign God who directs us:

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way." (Psalm 37:23, NKJV)
