The Latin-American countries of Cuba and Venezuela are struggling these days.  They need economic, social, AND spiritual help.  It's in that last category where TWR is vital.

Jason and Adina Helmholdt are today's guests on Footsteps.  They serve with TWR at our high-powered radio station on the Caribbean island of Bonaire.  From Bonaire, TWR is able to reach into these hurting countries with the Good News of Jesus.  "When we're airing into Venezuela and into Cuba ... and we're talking about hope," as Jason explains on today's program, TWR is pointing people to "that eternal hope" which is only found in Jesus.  And what exactly is this "eternal hope?"  Let me leave you with a few verses:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16, NKJV)

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:3-5, NKJV)

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3, NKJV)
