In his second letter to Timothy, the apostle Paul tells his "true son in the faith" (1 Timothy 1:2, NKJV) that ...

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NKJV)

For over 50 years, TWR has been broadcasting Thru the Bible (or TTB) in Spanish.  Through the daily teaching of the late Dr. J. Vernon McGee, Thru the Bible takes listeners on a five-year study of the entire Bible.  On today's episode of Footsteps, Thru the Bible President Gregg Harris reads a letter from a Puerto Rican pastor who has been listening to TTB since 1973.  As you listen to this man's story, think about the impact of fifty years of biblical teaching in his life--fifty years of "doctrine," "reproof," "correction," and "instruction in righteousness."  I have no doubt that God has used TTB on TWR to "thoroughly equip" this pastor for his many years of church work.  And, he's certainly not alone.  The Lord has used the partnership of these two radio ministries to equip untold thousands of other pastors through the daily broadcasts of His Word.  May God be praised!
