It's true that very few people in the United States listen to shortwave radio, but in certain closed countries around the world, shortwave radio is an extremely important medium--especially for receiving information from outside a nation's borders.  A perfect example is North Korea.  Each night, from the Pacific island of Guam, TWR broadcasts the Gospel over a shortwave radio signal into North Korea, and as TWR's Boaz Seong explains on today's Footsteps, "Shortwave radio is the only way (anyone) can send messages into North Korea."  Don't miss this informative episode!
