My360 Helper

"I listen to you everyday!" exclaimed an FEBC listener in Kyrgyzstan.  Victor Akhterov, of the Far East Broadcasting Company, tells her story on today's Footsteps.  Honestly, her reaction to meeting members of the FEBC staff is common in the world of Christian radio.  To begin with, radio is an intimate medium, and listeners view the voices that they hear on the radio as friends.  But there's more.  Because Christian radio shares God's Word, and because listeners are being transformed by the messages that they hear, it makes perfect sense that listeners would be overjoyed to visit with the brothers and sisters whom God is using to spiritually enrich their lives.  And, from the perspective of a Christian broadcaster, I can truly say that meeting and visiting with listeners can be a very encouraging experience.  You see, sometimes, it gets lonely on this side of the microphone.  So, call your favorite Christian radio station today and tell them how much you appreciate their impact in your life.
