According to the NRB website, National Religious Broadcasters is "the world's largest association of Christian communicators,"(1) and on today's Footsteps, NRB President and CEO Troy Miller gives a brief overview of the organization.  Troy points out the importance of the task that God has given this large group of broadcasters, podcasters, publishers, and filmakers--to speak biblical truth.  He maintains, "It is of the utmost importance" to deliver the truth of Scripture to our increasingly dark world.  I'm reminded of a quote from English theologian John Owen:

"Without absolutes revealed from without by God Himself, we are left rudderless in a sea of conflicting ideas about matters, justice and right and wrong, issuing from a multitude of self-opinionated thinkers."(2)

As a Christian broadcaster, let me publicly thank NRB for it's role in encouraging and supporting all of us who daily proclaim the truth of God to a world that desperately needs it.
