Eventually, we all face unexpected challenges in life such as a sudden job loss, a serious illness, or even the death of a loved one.  In the case of today's guest on Footsteps, Miriam Neff suffered the loss of her husband, Bob, who died of ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease.  But, after Bob's death, when Miriam couldn't find the help she needed as she transitioned into widowhood, God directed Miriam to found Widow Connection.  Miriam explains, "God knew that as much as I would not ever choose this, he had threads from my past that he was going to pull together" in order to minister to widows both in the U.S. and abroad.  Miriam's story is a perfect example of Psalm 37:23 (NKJV): "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
and He delights in his way."  I have no doubt that God is finding delight in Miriam Neff and Widow Connection.
