It appears that recent scientific discoveries have led some people to make science their "god". This is nothing new. The Holy Bible is replete with historical accounts of societies and nations that have elevated human "achievement" and "discoveries" to the position of idol worship. Those who worship idol "gods" will often oppose the Living and True God. Some of them will try to use their "newly discovered knowledge" to refute the teachings of the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible tells us how to handle those situations.
