I heard this terrible story from Cynthia. She asks, “What do you do when adult children keep a grandparent from seeing their grandkids? The breakdown came as a result of sin from everyone involved.” She says, “It’s been four years and a wall of hate still is in the way. My grandkids are now over 10 years old.” Can you imagine her pain? If you’re dealing with a similar situation, confess your sin to God and to your kids and fix it. Life’s too short. Go to your kids privately and talk to them. Tell them you want to mend the relationship no matter what it takes. Then pray that God will take it from there. I’ll be praying that God will soften hearts and mend relationships.
I haven’t seen my grandkids in four years.
