From Chapter 1:9-18 of the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam points to king Solomon’s admission, that nothing is new under the sun. King Solomon (שְׁלֹמֹֽה) shares with his people, how he had given his whole heart to searching-out, with his own human wisdom, after everything that is on the earth, under the sun. He discovered that all the knowledge and wisdom he had acquired, did not satisfy him, because without God, his wisdom and knowledge of all things, only brought him grief and sorrow. Solomon sought to convey to his people that joy and blessing, can only come, when God Himself is the centre in the lives of His people.
