From Chapter 2:12-26 of the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam sets before us Solomon’s confession concerning his own wisdom. When Solomon set God aside, and turned after human wisdom and knowledge, he realized, that although wisdom and knowledge is better than folly, challenges in life happen to the wise as well as to the fool. The wise and the fool labour under the sun, yet in death, there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool. Therefore, Solomon realized that one must give God His rightful place, as God is the One who gives the needed wisdom to those who seek to please Him, in order to use it for His glory.
