From Chapter 2:1-4 on the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), brother Gideon Levytam addresses the first of five warnings given to the Hebrew believers, who were in danger of drifting away from God because of persecution. They were not to return to the sacrificial system, which had been fulfilled, once Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah had accomplished redemption. Therefore, they were called to pay careful attention to God’s Word, (just as all believers, at all times are called to do) and not neglect the great salvation they had been brought into. Believers who drift away from God, and His Word, will not escape the discipline of a loving God, as the Father deals with every child that belongs to Him.
