Daniel is one of the few biblical characters to whom no sin is ascribed, yet he includes himself with his people by saying “we have sinned.” In Daniel 9, Daniel is confessing that the sin of Israel brought shame to him and his fellow Jews. In contrast to their wickedness, God was still righteous.
