In some ways, this was Dr. Orr's "favorite" revival, rich in prayer and low in excesses - and laying the foundation for a many years of progress. Beginning in Canada, but having great effect in New York City with the prayer meetings on Fulton Street started by Jeremiah Lanphier and contributing the the early ministry of D.L. Moody. The great historian Perry Miller called this revival "The Event of the Century." 4 of 10 in the comprehensive series was presented by Dr. Orr at the Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California in 1981.
