In the Parable of the Master and the Servant, found in Luke 17:7-10, Jesus the Messiah was preparing His disciples for His departure, through His death and resurrection. Gideon Levytam points to the fact that in this Parable, Yeshua teaches them regarding the need to serve God and His people, willingly and faithfully, which is the duty and responsibility of every true servant. And that when his time of service will come to an end, the faithful servant will count it both an honour and privilege to have served God.
