From Chapter 1:12-21 of Paul’s letter to the Colossians (אֶל-הָקוֹלְסִים), brother Gideon Levytam points to Paul’s instruction to the Colossians. The believers in Colosse needed to be reminded that Jesus the Messiah is the head of the true assembly. Some in Colosse exalted themselves, and dishonoured God, by failing to give Jesus the Messiah His rightful place in their midst. Paul reminded them that Yeshua the Man, is Divine, having the image of the invisible God, that He has the title of "the firstborn" of every creature, and that by Him all things were created. Therefore, Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah must have the preeminence.
