Rodney Finch is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Cary in Cary, NC. In 1995 Pastor Rodney and his family moved from California to the east coast where he started the church with his wife and ministry partner, Elvira. Calvary Chapel Cary (CC Cary) is a non-denominational church that teaches the Bible verse by verse with simplicity, clarity, and without compromise. Each church service and every ministry are focused on God’s Word, drawing together a beautifully diverse community of believers. Pastor Rodney also started the Calvary Chapel Training Center in Hyderabad, India, which focuses on teaching pastors from India and the surrounding regions the importance of Scripture and how to teach the Bible verse by verse. Born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised by a single mother, Rodney was addicted to drugs at an early age. Everything changed on January 23, 1982 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. By the power of God, he was completely delivered and set free from drug addiction, his heart healed, and his eyes open to the truths of God.
