I heard the gospel for the first time at the age of fifteen, when a friend invited me to a youth rally in São Paulo, in my native Brazil. Until that day, I had been under the impression I could earn my place in heaven by good works. During that sermon, God convinced me that I was sinner and fell short of His glory (Romans 3:23). I came to Jesus in repentance and faith. He saved me by his grace, and gave me renewed hope.
