She participated in three Olympic Games and during the 1988 Winter Olympic Games she won a silver medal. She is a multiple World Champion and stood on a podium more than 40 times.

“Every athlete experiences low points in their career.” Jörg Walcher is a former Austrian snowboarder. He started his professional sports career at 22 and competed in the ISF World Tour. After retiring from professional sports, he studied at Fuller Theological Seminary in LA. He now is a chaplain to top athletes and coaches.

“In the time of desert, he [God] kept me wandering” Joseph Lopy is a soccer player from Senegal. After football academy in Senegal he started playing in the French league at the age of 19. He had to endure a lot of injuries and in his interview today he shares his testimony how he got healed and started playing again.

Although it was never his plan to play football professionally, he has played for multiple French clubs and is part of the Senegal national team.

“Your purpose is somewhere close to what you like to do” Jan Achterberg is a former long track speed skater from the Netherlands. He decided to end high level sports at the age of 22. Today he is part of an NGO that helps athletes combining sports and faith. During the Olympics he is running 14 marathons in 14 days to end up in Paris by the end of the Games.

Josephine Jacques-Andre-Coquin is a French fencer. She participated in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. She has an impressive record both individually and with a team. Today she is a Project Development Officer for the city of Paris.

“My faith has saved me on many occasions” Vincent Hancock is a USA Skeet Shooter and a three times Olympic Champion. He is also a five time world champion. When he was young, he wanted to play baseball but with a father who was a competitive shooter so he started at about 11 years old with shooting skeet.

“I try to grow every day with God” Rachel Pellaud is a Swiss track and field athlete. The Olympic Games in Paris are the second time she attends the Games. In June of this year, she became national champion for the 800 meters where she beat a record, which gave her a qualification for the Olympics.

At the age of 34 he got a concussion that didn’t subside. That was the moment he got diagnosed with a brain tumor. Potgieter’s story is one of perseverance and gaining new perspective on life.

“God is my best Coach” Kyle Snyder is an American wrestler, Olympic champion (Rio 2016), Olympic silver medalist (Tokyo 2021), and three-time world champion. In his discipline, he is the youngest Olympic and world champion in American history. He started wrestling when he was 5 and is currently 28 years old. In Paris, he will be participating in his third Olympics. He will compete on August 10 and 11.
