Ephesians 1:8-12 - God’s Eternal Plan to Gather All Things in Messiah (אֶל־הָאֶפְסִיִּים)

The Eight Covenants of God - The New Covenant (הָבְרִית הָחָדָשָה)
Gideon Levytam presents the eighth and final covenant of God, called the New Covenant, Habrit Hachadashah. This unconditional covenant was made with both houses of Israel, who were divided. God calls Himself Israel’s Husband in Jeremiah 3:1-5, and promises to make a new unconditional covenant with Israel, unlike the conditional covenant of Mount Sinai. This New Covenant was established when the Lord Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah died for Sin and rose for the justification of all who believe in Him. While the New Covenant was made with the house of Israel, the church comes under the blessing of this New Covenant. Jeremiah 31:31-34. Hebrews 8:6-11, 10:14-17.
Ephesians 1:3-4 - Chosen and Blessed With Heavenly Spiritual Blessings (אֶל־הָאֶפְסִיִּים)
From Ephesians 1:3-4, Gideon Levytam emphasizes the biblical truth that believers in the Lord Jesus the Messiah, during this church age, were chosen by God before the foundation of the world. They are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places which they can already enjoy while still on earth.
The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree (מָשָל עֶץ הָתֶאֶנָה הָעָקָר)
Gideon Levytam explains that in the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree, Jesus the Messiah relates that God expects us to repent and believe, so that we can be fruitful. Those who refuse God’s grace are as a barren fig tree and will face God’s judgment.
The Eight Covenants of God - The Davidic Covenant (הָבְרִית עִם בֵית דָוִד הָמֶלֶך)
Gideon Levytam presents the seventh covenant of God, called the Davidic Covenant. This unconditional covenant was made with David, the king of Israel, and his lineage. Through Nathan the prophet, God promised that He would establish David's house, his throne and his kingdom forever, and that from his descendants the Messiah would be born. The Messiah would be born in order to be Israel’s king, He will reign over the house of Jacob forever and to His kingdom there will be no end. 2 Samuel 7:1-5, 11-16 and 1 Chronicles 17:7-15.
The Feast of Hanukkah (2021) (חָג חָנוּכָה)
Gideon Levytam presents the Feast of Hanukkah from God’s Word, showing the link between Hanukkah and the coming of Jesus, the promised Messiah. God preserved His people Israel from the Greek / Syrian King Antiochus, who had desecrated the Jerusalem Temple. In a miraculous way, He enabled the Maccabee led force to defeat Antiochus' army. Years later, the baby Yeshua / Jesus the Messiah was brought by Miriam, His mother, to this same rededicated Temple.
Ephesians 1:2 - Grace and Peace to the Faithful Saints (אֶל־הָאֶפְסִיִּים)
