The Spirit God God Produces Change

Today’s teaching focuses on the third Person of the Trinity, The Holy Spirit, and his ministries in the life of the believer. One of those ministries is the ministry of rejuvenation. The old is gone, the new has come.

The Gospel Can Be A Blessing Or A Curse

Today’s teaching is about the Gospel. The word gospel literally means “good news” and it occurs 93 times in the Bible. Broadly speaking, it is the whole of Scripture; more specifically, it is the good news concerning Christ and the way of salvation. The gospel is the good news that God loved the world enough to give His only Son to die for our sin. The gospel is good news because our salvation and eternal life and home in heaven are guaranteed through Christ. To those who accept it, it is a blessing. But to those who refuse it, that’s another story- one that we’ll examine in today’s teaching.

Is It Well With You?

On this Mother’s Day there is a question posed in today’s passage from 2Kings chapter 4. There we find a woman in very dire circumstances. But as we will see, God was greater than her circumstances.

Grace Means You Don’t Have To Fear

Grace is a constant theme in the Bible, and it culminates in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, but it is manifested from Genesis to Revelation. Grace is God choosing to bless us rather than curse us as our sin deserves. It is His benevolence to the undeserving. And when we operate in it, we need fear no weapon formed against us.

There Are Consequences When You Disobey

God is a good father who wants to bless us in every area of our lives. But like all good parents, He often must teach us about the repercussions of our disobedience to Him. It’s sometimes a tough lesson, but it’s always a necessary one.

The Battle Isn’t Over

In Joshua chapter 6 the children of Israel have made it to the land God promised to give them. After 40 years of desert experience they are on the precipice of realizing possession of that promise. But as they found, and as we’ll find today, this was more of beginning than an end.

Jesus Is The Pathway To God’s Truth

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is recorded in all four of the Gospels because it is foundation of the Christian life. Without it, we are of all men most miserable. Paul writes that apart from the resurrection our faith and message are in vain and pointless. This is the oxymoron of the Christian life: that we are dead, yet we live. Yet, it is not we that live, but it is Christ living in us. And as we’ll hear in today’s teaching, His life is the pathway to God’s truth.

Behold Your King Is Coming

Today we look at the story of Jesus’ triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem. As he rode among the people little did they understand that it was a fulfilment of prophecy found in the book of Zechariah: “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”

As God Sees Men

Today’s message is all about seeing ourselves as God sees us. From our archive of messages, today Dr. B. Sam Hart is teaching from Romans chapter 3.

Strongholds Fall When We Learn To Obey God

There are things in our lives that would keep us down if they could. The circumstances of life will keep us earthbound, when God wants us to soar like eagles. But today we learn that there is a spiritual law that lifts us up, as we watch life’s strongholds fall beneath us. What is that law? Tune in to find out.
