There Are Consequences When You Disobey
God is a good father who wants to bless us in every area of our lives. But like all good parents, He often must teach us about the repercussions of our disobedience to Him. It’s sometimes a tough lesson, but it’s always a necessary one.
The Battle Isn’t Over
In Joshua chapter 6 the children of Israel have made it to the land God promised to give them. After 40 years of desert experience they are on the precipice of realizing possession of that promise. But as they found, and as we’ll find today, this was more of beginning than an end.
Jesus Is The Pathway To God’s Truth
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is recorded in all four of the Gospels because it is foundation of the Christian life. Without it, we are of all men most miserable. Paul writes that apart from the resurrection our faith and message are in vain and pointless. This is the oxymoron of the Christian life: that we are dead, yet we live. Remembering Is Crucial
There are some things that are better forgotten. In Philippians 3 the Apostle Paul talks about “forgetting the things that are behind…” But here in Joshua chapter 4 we find that remembering some things are critical to victorious Christian living.
Victory Requires Faith
There are a lot of arguments about what faith is and what it is not. But there’s no arguing that in today’s message from Joshua chapter 2, victory requires faith- Bible based faith that is.
Do You Accept The Terms?
There’s a popular saying that goes, “It’s my way or the highway.” That may sound rather egotistical coming from a man or woman, but when God says it, it’s final. We either accept His terms, or we’re on our own. Join us for some insight from the story of Rahab in the book of Joshua.
