They fight ALL.THE.TIME.

I remember when my older kids were growing up it was always two against one. The older one was USUALLY the instigator. It’s not uncommon for our kids to fight and argue. As parents we can help them learn how to resolve conflict. One option is for us to be an example of peaceful behavior. Matthew 5 says blessed are the peacemakers. Help our kids be peaceful by helping them listen to each other, understand perspectives, express themselves respectfully, apologize, and seek forgiveness as taught in Colossians 3. After providing that guidance, though, let them work it out themselves. If they come running to you say, “Just try to work it out calmly.” It’s amazing how this can help them later in life.
