My kids just aren’t getting enough sleep

Let’s face it. Teens are busy. We encourage it sometimes, don’t we. But it’s no secret that teens need more sleep than us. But with school activities and time with friends, this can mean late nights and early mornings. Sleep is crucial for their physical and mental health and their academics. Time in God’s Word is also important to their spiritual health. It all boils down to priorities. We need to help our kids set clear boundaries and set priorities. When should they say no to new opportunities? When should they cut out something? That requires discipline by both of us that Hebrews says will yield peaceful fruit. By doing this we can help our teens develop lifelong discipline that will serve them well into adulthood.
