My kids need Christ.

One of the things that grieves me most is knowing one of my kids isn’t following Christ. Christ was an everyday topic in our home. I wish I could tell you family devotions were a regular part of our lives, but the reality is that it was more hit or miss, if anything. But, prayer was a daily ritual—still is. As three of my kids are adults, have families of their own, or are living on their own, I have to rest on the verse, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” (NKJV). While we can never guarantee that our kids will come to faith in Christ, we can’t blame ourselves either. It’s the Holy Spirit who calls them out of their sin and into a relationship with Christ. What’s our responsibility? To be faithful.
