The dating scene is scandalous.

Modern day dating probably isn’t for your son or daughter. Physical expectations are too high. Hearts are given away like we do favors for our next door neighbor. What am I encouraging my daughter to do?  Only date those you consider marrying. In fact, I advocate courting: “Under the protection, guidance, and blessing of parents or mentors, the couple concentrates on developing a deep friendship that could lead to marriage.”1 Is it old fashioned? Of course it is, but it’s something that can develop into a healthy marriage relationship and relationship with Christ. What’s Scripture say about it? Hebrews 13:4 says, in part, “Let marriage be held in honor among all” (ESV). Honoring male/female relationships biblically can make all the difference in your life with a future spouse. 1Definition from the Institute in Basic Life Principles
