There are a few different kinds of people in this world. There are people who are super generous. And then, there are those who think the ones with the most toys in the end wins. Then, there’s everything in between. The reality is our kids will model what we do. For example, my daughter notices when I fail to put an envelope in the church offering. When she got her first job, I reminded her that all of her money was God’s, but all He demanded was ten percent. She said, “Well, I’ll give next week because you don’t give out of every paycheck.” Ouch. You know what? She’s right. 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 reminds us that giving is an act of worship.
