Today we seek to face and defeat another incredible giant of the heart, one which strikes all of us at one time or another, the giant of Adversity. Adversity is misfortune, trouble, or affliction that comes our way because we are human beings. The fact of the matter is that life can be and is incredibly unfair at times. Jesus told his disciples that “the rain falls on the righteous and the unrighteous,” Matthew 5:45. Adversity is common to all of us and it certainly is no respecter of persons.
