Why do bad things happen to good people? That’s the question that has caused many people across the world to reject God—or, at least, that’s what they claim. But the real reason for their rejection of God has less to do with the question of suffering than it does the fact that they don’t want someone else ruling their lives. As we’ll see in Revelation 20, even when Christ establishes a perfect Kingdom, where bad things no longer happen to good people, men will still rebel against Him.
