Today Dr. John Akers begins a new series on the General Epistles. The General Epistles are named thus because they are letters written by leaders of the early church that are not addressed to any particular group or person. They are made up several books in the latter part of the new testament, including James, 1st and 2nd Peter, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, and Jude.
