What is a vision of God? Is it not that perception that God gives us in truth concerning His person, and nature? Is it not that clear and firm grasp of what He reveals to the heart concerning what He will do, and how He will work? The vision is given to men so that they will trust wholly in Him, and live to prove the truth of the revelation by their lives lived, and His work revealed.
