Luke 18:1-43
Think of that one friend you just love spending time with. That’s how it would have felt to be with Jesus. He was a serious, perfect person, but that didn’t mean He wasn’t fun and enjoyable to be with. People flocked to Him for a reason—He was likeable! Be welcomed today into the company of Jesus as both our Lord and friend.
Luke 16:19-17:37
Have a little faith, and God will take care of the rest. When some of Jesus’ instructions seemed difficult or impossible to follow, the apostles asked, “Lord, increase our faith.” What did Jesus do? He simply continued to teach them that their duty as His followers was to have faith in Him. In today’s lesson, learn more about forgiveness, faith, and the soul’s final destination—either heaven or hell.
Luke 16:1-18
Too often, we esteem people or things that have little to do with the message of the gospel. Jesus makes some bold statements in Luke 16. Luke 14:7-15:3
True blessing and honor are produced by humility. Today on the Bible Bus, we’ll see the disciples embarrass themselves a little bit. When they all rushed to get the best seat at the dinner table, Jesus gently rebuked them and gave them a lesson on humility. He encouraged them to take the lower place, befriend the outcasts, and to give without expecting anything in return.
Luke 13:1-14:7
We’re living in an upside-down kingdom, where Satan and sin have permeated all that God intended for good. So, what is the true kingdom of God like? Jesus asks this important question and answers it with two parables. Discover the hope we have in Christ’s return to establish His kingdom here on earth. Luke 12:1-59
When Jesus knew that heavenly language would be hard to understand, He told stories that used our earthly vernacular to give us a comparison. In Luke 12, He uses parables to teach life-changing truths to His followers. Today, those truths can still apply to us. Listen to Jesus as He uncovers the Pharisees’ hypocrisy, teaches people to fear the Lord, and reminds His followers that, “it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
Luke 11:1-54
Did you know you’re part of God’s kingdom? Today on the Bible Bus, rediscover the meaning of prayer. Jesus is already in the kingdom of God, making our requests known, sometimes even before we do. May you find comfort in knowing that Jesus is God’s kingdom “come upon you” through the Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit’s strength, you can pray on earth as though you’re already living in the kingdom.

Every story Jesus told was a gospel story. What? How?
