The Certainty Of God's Justice
Just as God's timing is His own, always revealed in His wisdom, knowledge, and goodness, so is His justice. It is as certain as the morning, and perfect as the Eternal God Himself. What we see as injustice, God puts upon the balance, and weighs every thought, way, and word. The great Judge of all the earth, will bring about His justice in His time. In the interim, we are called upon to be about our Father's business, actively committing all to God, who will not fail to render justice.
The Blessing Of God's Countenance
The confirmation of God's blessing is His peace. Also, there is the joy that is communicated to our hearts by the Spirit when we are harmony with Him. And finally, there is the flow of His love from the heart, the normal outworking of Christ's life from within. This River of Life, is also a fountain of blessing, the waters of which are for the thirsting souls of this world.
Preaching By Life And Word
Christianity is not just a concept expressed words. Paul wrote that the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. When Christ came and walked on this earth, in particularly when He began His ministry, the proof of His Divine calling was not just in His words of authority, but in the demonstration of His power, the power to do good in multiple ways. He overcame all opposition to Him, because of the Life that he revealed, and the words of truth that He spoke.
Father Good Morning
It is a wonderful truth that the Almighty God has become our Father, one who loves and cares for us, receives us at all times, and is willing to meet us in all circumstances in a way that will show forth His glory. It is in knowing God as our Father that a dimension of the depthless love of God can be known.
The Eternal Access To God
God has made a way for man to know Him. It is by a single sacrifice, that of His Son on Calvary. Only the blood of Christ can was away sin, and provide the sinner with a perfect righteousness by which he can be accepted by the Father, and made a part of His family by the Spirit. There is no other way. To seek to "climb" up some other way, is to defy, and denouce, the very God who has created us, and redeemed us by Christ's sacrifice.
Wonderful Abounding Grace
The grace of God is not only wonderful, but abounding. It cannot be measured, therefore, it has no limits. It is as free and good, as Christ Himself, always desireous to do good to the sinner, first to save him, and then to bless him, that the world may know that He is God.
The Door Of Opportunity
God offers to mankind many opportunities to get right with Him. Not only does He call, or awake the sinner to the consciousness of his need, but motivates and draws out his heart to respond to the love of God. However, though God is eternal and very patient, there comes a day, and hour, and a moment, when, as in the days of Noah, the door of opportunity may be shut. The Lord Jesus spoke of the night which was coming when no man would be able to work. Great opportunities carry with them great responsability.
The Battlefield Of The Mind
The Bible tells us that as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is. In other words, a man is what he thinks, the thoughts reflecting the true nature of man. The enemy of God, and that of every believer, is Satan. From the creation of man, Satan has been seeking to change the way man thinks, and this by interjecting lies, distortions of truth, and twisted reasoning, so that man would not walk and live by the truth of God. The mind has become the battlefield. However, the true believer has the mind of Christ, with every resource by the Spirit, to think aright.
It Is All Spiritual
It was by the lips of the Lord Jesus that we discover that one can only worship God "in spirit and in truth." Why is this? It is because, as the Lord Jesus declares, "God is Spirit," and those that worship must worship Him as such, in Spirit and truth. Hence, above all consideration of that which is physical, however real it is, the spiritual takes precedence over the physical, for the spiritual is forever, ever-lasting. This is why one must be born again of the Spirit, that one may have the capacity and enablement to know God, love and serve Him.
God's Way Of Faith
There is man's way of faith, and then there is God's. The difference has its reference point either in man or in God. Not only that, but there is a "way" by which man trusts, or entrusts, himself to the thoughts and ways of man, as opposed to that of deferring deliberately to the ways and thoughts of God. The Scriptures reveal to us that God's way is miraculous because only by Him can the way, though simple, be grasped. Another distinguishing fact of the difference between man's way and that of God, is the destination or the end of each. Man's way always ends in death. God's way always begins and ends in Life, that of the Lord Jesus Christ.
