Ecclesiastes 2:12-26 - Wisdom Can Only Profit When There is Fellowship With God
From Chapter 2:12-26 of the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam sets before us Solomon’s confession concerning his own wisdom. When Solomon set God aside, and turned after human wisdom and knowledge, he realized, that although wisdom and knowledge is better than folly, challenges in life happen to the wise as well as to the fool. The wise and the fool labour under the sun, yet in death, there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool. Therefore, Solomon realized that one must give God His rightful place, as God is the One who gives the needed wisdom to those who seek to please Him, in order to use it for His glory.

Psalm 7:1-17 - David's Prayer to God for Deliverance
From Psalm 7:1-17, brother Gideon Levytam shares David's prayer for deliverance. David spoke to God saying, that if he should reward evil to anyone who sought his peace, then let his enemy persecute him. David understood that the LORD is Holy, and that He judges His people justly, because judgment must begin in the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17. David was a man after God’s own heart and therefore, in Psalm 7, David concludes that only the LORD is his defence, and that He deserves to receive the songs of praise from His people. From Chapter 2:1-11 of the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam elaborates on king Solomon’s admission that no achievement, wealth, or pleasure had satisfied his heart. Psalm 6:1-10 - A Prayer of Anguish in Time of Trouble
From Psalm 6:1-10, brother Gideon Levytam shares David's prayer to the Lord when he was in trouble. Although David had failures in his life, and at times God had to chasten him because of sin, he was a man after God’s own heart. In Psalm 6, David senses his own weakness, as he prays to his loving God to have mercy upon him, and in true confession he cries for forgiveness. Once David repented and was corrected, the LORD responds to David’s prayer and delivers David from his enemies.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-18 - The Vanity of Human Wisdom and Knowledge Without God.
From Chapter 1:9-18 of the study on the Book of Ecclesiastes, (Kohelet - קֹהֶלֶת). Brother Gideon Levytam points to king Solomon’s admission, that nothing is new under the sun. King Solomon (שְׁלֹמֹֽה) shares with his people, how he had given his whole heart to searching-out, with his own human wisdom, after everything that is on the earth, under the sun. He discovered that all the knowledge and wisdom he had acquired, did not satisfy him, because without God, his wisdom and knowledge of all things, only brought him grief and sorrow. Solomon sought to convey to his people that joy and blessing, can only come, when God Himself is the centre in the lives of His people.
Daniel 10:1-6 - A Unique Man Daniel Saw by the River of Hiddekel
From Chapter 10:1-6 of the prophecy of Daniel (דָנִיאֶל), brother Gideon Levytam introduces the final vision which Daniel saw in chapters 10,11,12., concerning that which would befall his people in the latter days. From the first six verses of Daniel 10, we learn that Daniel was concerned for his people, and was in mourning for three full weeks, without eating or washing. At the end of these days of mourning, Daniel was carried away in a vision to the great river Hiddekel. A unique man clothed in linen, and girded with fine gold, who’s face and eyes shone, and who's feet were as brass, appeared unto Daniel ready to share with him concerning the latter days.
Daniel 9:25-27 - The Divine Time Frame for Messiah's First and Second Coming
From Chapter 9:25-27 of the prophecy of Daniel (דָנִיאֶל), brother Gideon Levytam continues to speak on the divine time frame that God set forth for the first and second coming of the Messiah. Gabriel instructed Daniel concerning the length of years before Daniel’s people, Israel, would be restored to God, through the atoning death of the promised Messiah. God decreed that the seventy times seven of years, שָׁבֻעִים שִׁבְעִים (490 years) for Israel’s restoration would begin in 445 B.C., the time when Nehemiah received permission to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. These 490 years were to be divided into three different time periods in Israel’s history. The first seven weeks of years (49 years), than sixty-two weeks of years (434 years) and than one week of years (7 years) together a total of 490 years. During these 490 years the Messiah would come, first, to die for the sin of Israel, and the whole world, and years later at His second coming the Messiah would return, and restore Daniel’s people back to God.
